The Senior Workday Analyst, as part of the Global HR Technology and Services team, is responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining the core Workday HR system while delivering excellent customer service to colleagues worldwide. This role requires knowledge of HR processes and the ability to resolve issues; working in a team environment to analyse business processes and configure new functionality within the core HR system and other HR systems.

Key responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Subject Matter Expert in Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules working closely with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement of functionality and business processes in line with the business strategy and Workday best practice.
  • Lead the Implementation of configuration changes, coordinating the end-to-end process including requirement capture, design, testing, training and documentation.
  • Work closely with the business for all Workday release items and Continuous Improvement to understand requirements, solution design and support the communications and training of changes.
  • Contribute to Strategic Workday roadmap planning, recommend feature adoption and roadmap priorities in partnership with the business.
  • Maintain system integrity, security and configuration standards and contribute to the Workday governance processes.
  • Lead Workday projects managing module enhancements from design through to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to agreed standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and implementation partners.
  • Support change management and user adoption activities.
  • Maintain audit ready documentation, compliance with org policies and relevant legislation.
  • Mentor junior analyst and admin and act as an escalation for complex issues.

Key requirements (Communication/skills/experience):

  • Essential: Deep expertise in the Workday Absence and Time Tracking Modules.
  • Strong understanding of Workday business processes.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting Workday releases and testing cycles.
  • Desirable: Experience across multiple Workday modules.
  • Workday Pro certifications.
  • Experience in global organisations.
  • Experience of the legal sector.
  • Experience managing third-party Workday partners.
