Freshfields is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Product Owner to take end-to-end ownership of our Legal & Risk technology estate. As a Product Owner, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Legal & Risk systems. This senior role involves defining and delivering an ambitious roadmap, including a major cloud transformation programme. You will operate at a strategic level, collaborating directly with senior business stakeholders to define outcomes and lead delivery across internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for our Legal & Risk systems, encompassing Intake, Conflicts, Terms, and Ethical Walls.
  • Drive the migration of the Intapp platform from on-premise to cloud.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear product direction and prioritised platform initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across the legal and risk lifecycle.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of the roadmap and transformation programmes, managing scope, prioritisation, and execution.
  • Act as the primary accountability point for Legal & Risk technology, fostering strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Manage key vendor and partner relationships, ensuring value and quality.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven track record in senior product, platform, or domain leadership roles within complex enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with Intapp or similar legal, risk, or workflow platforms is essential.
  • Extensive experience defining and delivering product roadmaps and large-scale transformation programmes, particularly cloud migration initiatives.
  • A strategic and commercial mindset, with the ability to effectively influence and manage diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors and delivery partners.
  • Strong technical credibility, enabling effective engagement with architecture and engineering teams.
  • An understanding of legal, risk, compliance, or corporate financial processes.
