Overview

In this Junior Risk Adviser role, you help protect and strengthen risk governance, regulatory compliance and insurance programs across the firm. You will support risk, governance, regulatory and claims activities and contribute to the enterprise risk management framework. You’ll work with Legal, Finance, HR and Information Security teams on risk assessments, monitoring and reporting to build a proactive risk culture. The opportunity offers exposure to cross-functional projects and senior stakeholders in a global professional services setting. You will grow by tackling strategic risk initiatives and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operation and development of the firm's enterprise risk management framework
  • Assist with risk assessments, reviews and risk-related projects
  • Monitor risk mitigation actions, KRIs and other risk management activities
  • Research emerging regulatory, technological, geopolitical and market risks
  • Prepare materials for management, committees and governance forums
  • Support review and maintenance of firmwide policies, standards and guidance
  • Assist regulatory compliance and monitoring activities
  • Coordinate the external appointments process
  • Develop risk communications, training and awareness initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement and lessons-learned activities
  • Assist with professional liability claims and global insurance programme renewals
  • Maintain risk, claims and insurance records and reporting
  • Produce management information and analyse data to identify trends
  • Contribute to dashboards, risk metrics and reporting tools
  • Engage with stakeholders and coordinate risk initiatives
  • Provide coordination and administrative support to global risk stakeholders

Key requirements

  • Experience in risk, compliance, governance, legal, audit, regulatory or other professional services environments
