The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, professional judgement, confidentiality, and a commitment to regulatory compliance. This opportunity may suit candidates with backgrounds in finance, banking, accounting, economics, business administration, or compliance, as well as experienced professionals seeking to advance their careers in financial crime prevention.
2. Key Responsibilities

- Risk Assessment: Evaluate the nature, frequency, value, geographical origin, destination, and counterparties of transactions to help determine the potential level of financial crime risk.
- Pattern Recognition: Identify recurring transaction behaviours, emerging typologies, and possible attempts to avoid established monitoring thresholds or controls.
- Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain complete and confidential investigation records to support internal reviews, compliance audits, quality assurance, and regulatory examinations.
- Quality Assurance: Review investigation decisions for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with established procedures and service‑level expectations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with compliance officers, fraud investigators, customer due diligence teams, sanctions specialists, and operational departments to resolve complex cases.
