Role Overview

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Mid‑weight to Senior Product Designer to become a key player in our global team. In this dynamic role, you will report directly to the Lead Product Designer and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including product, engineering, customer experience, and senior leadership. Your mission: bring fresh perspectives to all product areas at Fresha. This is a prime opportunity for someone eager to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑evolving environment, who loves working independently, relishes a challenge, and aims to make a significant impact. You will be joining a stellar team of seasoned designers from top‑tier companies like Sky, Dyson, Renault, and ASOS. To nurture our collaborative spirit, we work from the office four days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely one day each week. London Office Address: SE1 7ND, 10 York Road, London.

Key Accountabilities

  • Influence - Shape the overall strategy and drive key decisions about product direction.
  • Create - Craft and refine compelling narratives around product needs and opportunities.
  • Collaborate - Collaborate seamlessly with product management, engineering, and design teams.
  • Innovate - Innovate and iterate on user flows, prototypes, and high‑fidelity visuals.
  • Design - Design and launch high‑quality product enhancements.
  • Utilise - Utilise prototyping tools to demonstrate movement and functionality of concepts.
  • Advocate - Advocate for and uphold accessibility standards.
  • Engage - Engage in and plan necessary research activities.
  • Contribute - Contribute to the design team’s culture and growth through knowledge sharing.
  • Develop - Develop scalable, robust solutions to complex challenges for our users.

Skills and Experience

  • 4‑6 years of professional experience in a product design role.
  • Exceptional visual and user interface design skills, grounded in user‑centered design principles.
  • Strong sense of consistency, colour, typography, and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to grasp complex issues and distil them into clear, focused solutions for our partners and their customers.
  • Effectively communicate product direction even under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, coolness under pressure, creative problem‑solving, attention to detail, and a passion for design.
  • Self‑starter with a proactive approach.
  • Comfortable thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Interview Process

  • Screening Call – 30‑minute video call with the Talent Team.
  • First Stage – 30‑minute video call or in‑person meeting with the Lead Product Designer.
  • Second Stage – 1‑hour in‑person portfolio review with the Lead Product Designer and Deputy CPO.
  • Final Stage – 1‑hour in‑person presentation to the Lead Product Designer, Deputy CPO, and Co‑founder.

We aim to complete the entire interview process and deliver feedback within 2 weeks. Every job application is reviewed manually by our talent team. While we strive to assess applications within 7 days, the sheer volume of talented individuals expressing interest may occasionally extend this timeframe.
