Overview
In this senior analytics role, you own the commercial analytics stack to enable growth, retention, and profitability across Direct Sales, Account Management, and Customer Experience. You will partner with Commercial leadership and cross-functional teams to build decision-support, forecast key metrics, and optimize incentives and pricing. Your work shapes strategy and prioritization for a fast-growing business as you tackle ambiguous problems with autonomy. This role emphasizes practical impact, data-driven decision making, and collaboration in a scaling organization.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate across Commercial, Finance, and Analytics to align on priorities and deliver practical solutions
- Own day-to-day task and priority management for the Commercial pod and assist with roadmap planning
- Proactively flag opportunities and risks and raise what matters before being asked
- Foster a positive, pragmatic working environment for analysts and tackle hard or ambiguous problems
- Balance impact with effort, staying connected to the business to understand urgency
- Design decision-support systems for Account Management and CRM to surface opportunities and track outcomes against revenue and retention
- Own analytics for the Commercial function: Direct Sales, Account Management/Retention, and Customer Experience/Partner Support
- Build and own unit economics models for the commercial engine (CAC, LTV, margin) and assess impact of compensation structures
- Design and evolve compensation and incentives aligned with pricing strategy beyond simple revenue targets
- Own forecasting for retention, churn, revenue growth, and customer success
- Build predictive models (e.g., churn risk scoring) to prioritize actions
- Design and run experiments to test compensation, pricing, or retention interventions with rigorous readouts
- Automate customer support insight generation using data and AI tooling
- Write production-grade SQL and Python; use AI-assisted development tools as standard practice
Key requirements
- 6-10 years in a senior analytical role with strong commercial analytics, finance/FP&A, or retention analytics background
- Deep forecasting, unit economics, and pricing analysis experience
- Comfort advising on compensation and incentive structures
- Strong SQL and Python; practical experience with dbt and GitHub workflows
- Experience with a modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt); Python-based BI tool (Plotly) or equivalent
- Proven track record as trusted analytical partner to commercial leadership
- Ability to challenge stakeholders when data does not support proposed directions
- Fluent use of AI agents (e.g., Claude Code) in analytical workflows
- Bonus: experience in B2B SaaS/subscription/platform with direct sales; familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM; experience with Twilio
