FRESH has partnered with an AI-driven startup who are building software that translates written/spoken English into sign language. By combining AI, computer vision and sign-language expertise they are able to produce realistic sign-language interpreters and integrate them into sites, videos and real-world systems.
This role focuses on building and scaling a real-time streaming platform that converts audio, text, and video inputs into AI-generated sign language output, delivered via MP4, HLS streams, and other modern formats. The successful candidate will play a key role in reducing latency, implementing new streaming protocols, and shaping the foundations of a real-time delivery infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain backend services for live and near-real-time video streaming
- Reduce end-to-end latency across streaming and delivery pipelines
- Work on video processing and media delivery pipelines
