Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Working pattern: Flexible - choose 3 or 4 days across Monday to Friday, with adaptable start/finish times. We’re happy to work around you, including later morning starts, afternoon or evening shifts where needed.
Croft Court, our brand-new student accommodation launching in September 2026, is looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Operative to join us from the very beginning. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a fresh site opening, helping to shape a safe, high-quality, and welcoming environment for our residents from day one.
About the role: Are you someone who enjoys fixing things and takes pride in keeping spaces running smoothly? In this role, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day maintenance across the building, including:
- Carrying out minor reactive repairs and planned maintenance
- Supporting statutory compliance checks and standards
- Managing external waste areas and commercial bins
- Being the go-to person for maintenance support across site
No two days will be the same, you’ll handle everything from routine jobs to unexpected fixes, playing a key part in creating a safe and comfortable home for our students.
About you: We’re looking for a practical, solution-focused individual who:
- Has experience in general maintenance or a similar hands-on role
- Enjoys problem-solving and working independently
- Brings a positive, can-do attitude — even when challenges arise
