About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and organised Care Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day running of our care service. The role involves coordinating care packages, supporting staff, maintaining accurate records and completing internal audits to ensure the service remains compliant with CQC standards. You will act as a key point of contact for carers, clients, families and external professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and coordinating care visits to ensure safe and consistent service delivery
  • Completing internal audits, spot checks and quality monitoring tasks
  • Maintaining accurate care plans, risk assessments and client documentation
  • Responding to enquiries from clients, families, carers and professionals
  • Supporting carers with rota queries, updates and daily communication
  • Ensuring all records are kept up to date and audit‑ready
  • Monitoring service performance and escalating concerns when required
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and training of care staff
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
  • Contributing to a positive, safe and well‑organised working environment

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service approach
  • Confident using IT systems and digital care platforms
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
  • High attention to detail, especially in documentation and audits
  • Experience in care coordination, domiciliary care, supported living or similar (preferred)
  • Understanding of CQC standards and compliance expectations (advantageous)
