Are you a natural leader with experience in warehouse operations? I’m currently recruiting for a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join a well-established and growing organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for process improvement, and a background in warehouse or logistics environments to step into a key role.
Role Overview for Warehouse Team Leader
As the Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse team – ensuring efficient order processing, stock accuracy, and maintaining high standards in line with company procedures. You’ll work closely with the Group Operations Manager to distribute workloads and continuously improve team performance.
Key Responsibilities for Warehouse Team Leader
- Lead, support, and motivate the warehouse team to meet productivity targets.
- Ensure Health & Safety policies are upheld at all times.
- Oversee stock management and order dispatch processes.
- Delegate tasks effectively and manage workflow efficiently.
- Deliver staff briefings and promote clear communication across teams.
- Identify errors or issues and provide feedback to the Group Operations Manager.
- Support training, onboarding, and performance development of staff.
- Monitor equipment and facility standards, ensuring safe operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, systems, and inventory control.
- PC literate with good administrative and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with a flexible and proactive approach.
