Ref -11028 Quality Inspector Mansfield, Nottinghamshire Temp to perm role c£31,300 plus excellent large company benefits. Double day shift pattern – due to working hours own transport is essential. We are supporting a local manufacturing company with the recruitment of a temp to perm quality inspector working within a team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn and develop further. The main purpose of the role is inspection of components from goods inwards and shop floor using the required sampling techniques.

Duties

  • Perform visual inspection to the required standard.
  • Check all operations on paperwork have been filled in correctly.
  • Follow reporting procedures when errors on paperwork have been established.
  • Follow reporting procedures when errors on components have been discovered.
  • Check correct gauges have been issued, used and recorded on all threaded components.
  • Update AX system according to company processes.
  • Complete booking off of route cards according to company procedure.
  • Prioritise workload using weekly priority and due date lists.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment.
  • To be prepared to undergo appropriate training as identified by the Company.

Personal skills and experience

  • Previous experience in Quality inspection is essential ideally gained within a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and be able to multitask is a prerequisite for the role.
