Job Overview
Quality Engineer – Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
£40,000 (DOE) + 28 days annual leave plus statutory holidays, enhanced pension, life assurance, sick pay from day 1 and free parking. Monday to Friday, days only.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for all quality issues pertaining to the designated customer base by providing the working specifications, equipment, and other information necessary to enable key stakeholders to efficiently control the manufacturing product quality.
- Relentlessly drive continuous improvement in all activities.
- Carry out GMP audits, internal audits, product testing, complaints management, document control and other relevant tasks to support the upkeep of the business quality management systems.
- Develop new improved systems, procedures, methods, etc. in a continuous drive for departmental improvements.
- Analyse production / quality data.
- Product testing requirements review.
- Internal auditing.
- Liaise closely with Production / Sales / Technical personnel regarding internal non-conformities and customer complaints – serving as a complaints administrator for the customer base.
