Overview
Counterbalance FLT Driver – Pinxton, Derbyshire
Schedule: Monday to Friday with Rotational Shift Pattern (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am). Fixed Shifts will also be considered.
Pay: £13.45 per hour. Out of date licence will be accepted, but must have recent experience.
This position offers the opportunity to prove yourself and, after a trial period, a potential full-time permanent role. Our client is looking for an additional counterbalance driver to strengthen the team due to an upturn in business. Responsibilities:
- Move goods packed on pallets around the warehouse
- Stack goods in the correct storage bays, racking, etc., following inventory control instructions
- Complete paperwork for delivery notes and stock control if requested
- Ensure the truck is operating safely and checked daily
- Report any breakdowns, spills or malfunctions to the Manager
- Assist with other loading activities as requested
- Adhere to all company / health and safety legislation
Skills / Qualifications:
- Counterbalance driving experience is essential (preferably within last 6 months)
- A good standard of written and spoken English
- Must be a team player, with the ability to work alone
- Excellent attitude
