We are proudly recruiting for a Line Supervisor at one of our local clients based in Bilsthorpe. This third-generation family farming business, which specialises in cereal and vegetable production, is looking for an experienced Line Supervisor to make a positive impact with regular checks and improvements.
Job Description:
- Daily start-up checks of the Glass & Plastic sheets
- Ensure all packaging is of company standard
- Regularly communicate the report progress and down-time with pre-pack team leader
- Report issues to Pre-pack team leader & Maintenance in a timely manner through either face to face or by the Factory Whatsapp groups
- Pro-actively communicate with all staff
- Support continuous improvements within the team and production
- Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping & GMP by ensuring all staff follow the planned “clean down”
- Meet all GMP & H&S Targets
- Follow and complete the production plan
- Take on any other duties as required or what is deemed necessary for the needs of the business
The ideal candidate will have:
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly identify issues, analyse root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Experience: Proven experience as a multi-skilled technician or similar role with a strong knowledge of mechanical systems
- Hard working: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, pro-active & self-motivated
- Passion: Going the extra mile to improve the process, taking pride in the area & role within the company
- Commitment: Dedication to goals, reliable, engaged & a willingness to learn, develop, & further progress within the company
