We are currently recruiting for a Production Line Supervisor. The role is based on the outskirts of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Own transport is essential due to location and working hours. Our client is a profitable and expanding business that offers job security, training and ongoing development. They have ambitious plans to continue to grow the business and understand that investing in new personnel is key to their success.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the company product to ensure the production line has the correct workflow to meet the orders
- Plan and prioritise workload to ensure maximum performance and minimum downtime
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Stock management
- Pro-actively support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping (5S)
Core Skills:
- Previous experience in operating plant machinery within food production
- Good standard of English and Maths
- Adaptable and open to experience potential new workplace situations
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Good IT skills, must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
