Counterbalance Driver

Shirebrook, Derbyshire

Days and Nights, 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am – 4 on 4 off

Pay: £13 per hour with paid breaks

Our client, a food production company based in Shirebrook, is looking to recruit experienced Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Drivers with a Counterbalance licence for their busy warehouse to strengthen their team.

This is a temporary to permanent vacancy.

Responsibilities

• Locating goods into bay racking
• Picking finished goods and preparing for despatch
• Loading finished pallets on outbound vehicles
• Moving materials within the facility as and when required
• Accurately completing all relevant movement paperwork
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping
• Reporting near misses and unsafe activities/incidents
• Ensure health & safety standards are maintained

Skills

• Fork Lift Truck Licence which must have been refreshed in the last 3 years and be RTITB/ITSSAR certified or equivalent
• A good standard of written and spoken English
• Must be a team player, with the ability to work alone
• Excellent attitude
• Must have a good level of the English language
