Ref 11077 Stores controller Mansfield, Nottinghamshire £31,300 plus outstanding large company benefits Double day shift pattern – due to working hours own transport is essential **Initially commencing on a temporary contract but after just 12 weeks trial period you have the opportunity to secure yourself a permanent contract subject to satisfactory performance.** We need an experienced stores controller to work for a major blue-chip company in Mansfield, this is a pivotal role to ensure that materials are issued in a timely and effective manner. Duties for the stores controller * Issue material to works order route cards to correct size and quantity. * Operate saws to cut material to specified sizes * Liaise with the Shift Leader and Deputy Shift Leader to ensure material is supplied on time to the machines. * Keep control of material stock and raise an order for more when minimum quantities are reached. * Ensure material stores is clean and tidy, by conducting daily housekeeping. * Mark all material with relevant trace numbers. * To undergo training as required. * Adherence to Health and Safety policy. Experience for the stores controller * Experience within a stores or trade counter would be preferred, if not purchasing, stock or inventory is essential * Attention to detail is essential * Strong computer skills * Flexibility to learn new task and take on further training if required Once permanent the client offers * Ongoing career development and training * Healthcare cash plan, month profit related bonus, long services awards, annual leave increasing with service, discounted gym membership, company pension scheme, onsite parking and canteen facilities All respondents to this position must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
