Due to internal promotion, our client is looking to recruit a purchasing assistant to join their busy and established purchasing team. This is a pivotal role to ensure that clients are fulfilled in time and in the correct manner, and it would suit a purchasing assistant who is looking to grow and expand their purchasing knowledge.

Key Responsibilities of a Purchasing Administrator:

  • The process of order placement through to on-time delivery.
  • Processing invoices and relevant paperwork.
  • Managing inventory levels of consumables.
  • Help to arrange international shipments (import and export) in conjunction with the expeditor.
  • Managing consumables stock and orders.
  • Receipt of goods in.
  • Supplier invoices.
  • Maintain data records for suppliers and the department.
  • Help to chase suppliers on deliveries.
  • Help to maintain the vehicle and asset register.
  • Help to maintain departmental KPIs and reports.
  • Supplier confirmation dates are inputted.
