6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm – Days and Afters Rotating

Β£31,200 per annum + onsite parking, canteen facilities and internal career opportunities

Position Overview

As a Production Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the production team, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner. This is a hands‑on role, with 75% of your time spent on the production line, supervising and leading a team of four staff members. The remaining 25% of your time will be spent on administrative tasks, including setting up the production line, changing pumps, ordering parts, updating production information on the SAP system, and maintaining quality audit information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of goods on the production line.
  • Monitor and manage production processes, ensuring adherence to schedules and standards.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with machinery, materials, or production processes.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices, safety protocols, and production procedures.
  • Set up the production line for operations and ensure smooth transitions between production runs.
  • Update and maintain production data in the SAP system, ensuring accuracy in records and reports.
  • Maintain quality audit information and ensure compliance with internal and external audit standards.
  • Prepare and submit production reports, including any discrepancies, issues, or recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
