We are supporting a successful and privately owned manufacturing facility with the recruitment of a Production Supervisor. This is a pivotal role within the company, and they need someone with previous production supervisory experience and a hands-on approach.
The role is based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield; however, you must be prepared to work out of their other site based near Meadowhall Sheffield.
Objectives of Production Supervisor:- To maintain and improve standards of efficiency, effectiveness and quality within Manufacturing, Warehouse and Distribution.
- To improve communication between all other operations functions.
- To maintain, co-ordinate and improve working practices within the factory/warehouse, subject to performance measures regarding waste and efficiency.
- Work to lean manufacturing systems and KPIs.
- To monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the factory, investigating any non-conformances and implementing corrective action.
- Manage the Production Operative team and Drivers ensuring attendance and conduct are in line with company policy.
