Warehouse Team Leader position in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm. Salary: £35,000 plus benefits including company pension, death in service, medical services, perks box, and free parking.
Fresh Start Recruitment is currently recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader to work within a Global manufacturing facility supplying major retailers. You will be responsible for managing a team to ensure self-sufficiency, including control, planning, organising, and motivating.

Job Duties:
- Manage HSHE ensuring a Zero Accident mentality.
- Despatching (quality, cost, and delivery) and ensuring correct documentation is issued and accurately records the goods shipped.
- Develop good communication, team spirit, and commitment within the team.
- Use performance efficiencies to provide data for targeted improvement activity.
- Identify all forms of waste reduction.
- Drive improvement actions to their conclusion.
- Manage on-shift performance management, disciplinary, resource, and incident issues.
- Attend and present daily review and other relevant meetings.
- Process appropriate transactions within local IT systems.
- Team development and succession planning.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Warehouse process knowledge including inventory control.
- Previous supervisory experience ideally gained within a change culture environment.
- HSHE awareness skills e.g., IOSH managing/working safely, First aid, fire.
- Quality systems awareness.
- Problem-solving techniques.
- IT literate with experience of MS Office.
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent organisational skills through attention to detail.
- Timely and effective decision making using a methodical approach.
- Sound interpersonal approach.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Leads by example.
- Ability to work with shift and other teams to ensure the site's objectives are met.
