Quality Engineer
Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
£28,000 - £30,000 + 28 days annual leave plus stats, enhanced pension, life assurance and sick pay from day 1 and free parking!

Fresh Start are working with their long-standing partner, a market leading manufacturer, to recruit a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone with high attention to detail, results driven and a proactive attitude to join their growing team. Main duties:
- To take responsibility for all quality issues pertaining to the designated customer base by providing the working specifications, equipment, and other information necessary to enable key stakeholders to efficiently control the manufacturing product quality.
- To relentlessly drive through continuous improvement in all activities.
- To carry out GMP audits, internal audits, product testing, complaints management, document control and other relevant tasks to support the upkeep of the business quality management systems.
- To develop new improved systems, procedures, methods etc in a continuous drive for departmental improvements.
- Analyse production / Quality data.
- Product testing requirements review.
- Internal auditing.
- Liaise closely with Production / Sales / Technical personnel regarding internal non-conformities and customer complaints – serving as a complaints administrator for the customer base.
Key requirements:
- GMP & HACCP knowledge.
- Internal Auditor & CMM programme trained.
- General product testing.
- Knowledge gained within FMCG is preferred but not essential; however, manufacturing experience is required.
