We have a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Operator to join a well-established and ever-growing company. Our client has sites around the world and is looking for someone to join their Mansfield team. You will be a part of their engineering team who are responsible for keeping machines running and in good condition.
Are you looking for your next role being a part of a forward thinking and proactive team? Read below for the duties:
- Effective operation of all CNC machines in the machine shop.
- Providing support in ancillary areas when required.
- Liaise with cell technicians & skilled CNC machinist when required.
- Inspect and work with inspection cell as required.
- Carry out routine housekeeping duties.
- Ensure work order routines are filled out correctly at every stage.
Personal Attributes for the CNC Operator:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive with excellent attention to detail.
- The perfect candidate would have experience working within a machine shop/engineering environment.
- Ability to complete work in a timely manner.
- Previous engineering experience is required ideally with CNC knowledge.
This would ideally suit a college/school leaver who has an interest in engineering (Btec or A Levels in technical subjects would be preferred).
