Key responsibilities for the Tool Setter:
- Set up machines (changeovers) ready for manufacturing process
- Monitoring of machines to ensure they are running at optimum conditions
- Fault Finding
- Carry out reactive repairs where possible to maintain production
- Responsible for quality checks
- Communication with the Toolroom and other departments to ensure quality of product at all times
- Ensure compliance to all Company and Health & Safety legislation
- Promote a positive and safe working environment
Experience for the Tool Setter:
- Demonstrable experience and stability in a similar role
- Must have previous experience of Injection Moulding
- Blow Moulding experience would be an advantage
- Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised
- Excellent communication skills
