We’re looking for proactive and person-centered education professionals to plan and deliver personalised learning sessions that spark curiosity, confidence and a sense of hope for our children who are out of mainstream education. What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing 1:1 or 2:1 support to children and young people in their homes or a suitable public setting.
  • Delivering personalised, creative sessions that reflect each learner’s needs, interests and abilities.
  • Monitoring and reporting on student progress after each session and setting clear, achievable targets to support ongoing development.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Working flexibly (on a bank staff contract) and term-time only, with sessions typically lasting 3 to 5 hours during the school day.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Education professionals with at least one year experience supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs, including challenging behaviours and sensory needs.
  • Those with a background in Primary, Secondary and Post 16 teaching, or specialist SEND environments (experience with Makaton, PECS and behaviour support is an advantage).
  • Professionals with experience or interest in working with students with SEN and SEMH needs, including Autism, communication needs and learning difficulties.
  • Individuals with a minimum of 2 consistent weekdays of availability.
  • Professionals with up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
