Make a Fresh Start This New Year. Bring your skills, passion and experience into a role where you can truly change a young person’s life. We’re looking for caring education professionals to provide bespoke and holistic 1:1 or 2:1 support to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing 1:1 or 2:1 support to children and young people in their homes or a suitable public setting.
- Delivering personalised, creative sessions that reflect each learner’s needs, interests and abilities.
- Working term-time only, with sessions typically lasting 3 to 5 hours during the school day.
- Working flexibly (on a bank staff contract) as part of a compassionate, expert-led team.
Who we’re looking for:
- Education professionals with SEN and SEMH needs experience, such as Autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
- Those from Early Years, Primary, Secondary or Post-16 backgrounds, including specialist SEND settings (experience with Makaton, PECS and behaviour support is an advantage).
- Individuals with a minimum of 2 consistent weekdays of availability.
- Professionals with up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
