We're currently looking for Education Specialists in Suffolk and surrounding areas to join our team in providing bespoke and holistic support to children and young people who are out of mainstream education. What you’ll be doing:
- Providing 1:1 or 2:1 support to children and young people in their homes or a suitable public setting
- Delivering personalised, creative sessions that reflect each learner’s needs, interests and abilities
- Monitoring and reporting on student progress after each session and setting clear, achievable targets to support ongoing development
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
- Working flexibly (on a bank staff contract) and term-time only, with sessions typically lasting 3 to 5 hours during the school day
Who we’re looking for:
- Education professionals with at least one year experience supporting children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs
- Those from EYFS, Primary, Secondary or Post-16 backgrounds, including specialist SEND settings
- Individuals with a minimum of 2 consistent weekdays of availability
- Professionals with up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection
