We're currently looking for education professionals to join our team in providing bespoke and holistic support to young people who are out of mainstream education. What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing 1:1 or 2:1 support to young people in their homes or a suitable public setting
  • Delivering personalised, creative sessions that reflect each learner’s needs, interests and abilities
  • Monitoring and reporting on student progress after each session and setting clear, achievable targets to support ongoing development
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Working flexibly (on a bank staff contract) and term-time only, with sessions typically lasting 3 to 5 hours during the school day

Who we’re looking for:

  • Education professionals with SEN and SEMH needs experience, including communication needs, anxiety and challenging behaviour
  • Those from Secondary or Post-16 backgrounds, including specialist SEND settings (experience with Makaton, PECS and behaviour support is an advantage)
  • Individuals with a minimum of 2 consistent weekdays of availability
  • Professionals with up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection
