The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
The role is based in Norwich and will involve working with groups and one-to-one to deliver programmes and bespoke support to those with experience of the criminal justice system.
You will be working with individuals residing in prison and those that are now in the community providing an important rehabilitative and re-integration service.
You will have resilience and adaptability; understand the importance of professional boundaries; have excellent listening skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy.
You will enjoy the challenge of a busy caseload and will be able to demonstrate the excellent organisation skills essential to managing a demanding and diverse workload.
Experience Of Working With Those With Heightened Vulnerabilities
- Experience of working with a diverse range of people who have experienced a range of social/personal difficulties, and of using tact and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
- Have strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.
- A full UK driving licence with access to your own transport and are willing to use it for work purposes (travelling expenses are reimbursed).
- Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
- Advocacy Skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Evidence of key competencies in literacy and numeracy with at least a qualification at GCSE grade C/4, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent.
- Ability to balance competing needs and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering services and working directly within statutory, voluntary or multi‑agency setting(s).
- A successful track record of building effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- Awareness of issues surrounding homelessness, offending, financial inclusion, mental health or alcohol and substance abuse.
- Organised and excellent time management.
- Desirable but not essential – Higher level academic qualifications and/or Level 3 qualifications and above.
