We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Van Delivery Driver to join our team. We are a leading food manufacturer and distributor to the hospitality industry in Glasgow and the West, operating since 2007.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload the van, following all food hygiene and temperature controls.
- Plan efficient driving routes to meet delivery deadlines.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to handle goods.
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM. Six Saturdays are required across November and December.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Prior delivery or driving experience is a plus, but not required.
Training and Support: Full training will be provided on food hygiene and temperature controls, as well as our delivery processes.
