We’re looking for a proactive, hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join our friendly team at Fresh. As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key part in ensuring Spring Mews stays safe, functional and welcoming. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out minor reactive repairs and planned maintenance.
- Conduct routine swimming pool testing, ensuring water quality is compliant, chemical levels are safe, and all related plant equipment is functioning correctly.
- Perform regular building checks including fire alarm tests, emergency lighting inspections, and health & safety compliance activities.
- Support room turnarounds during student check‑in and check‑out periods.
- Being the on‑site “go‑to” for maintenance queries.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and positive environment for our residents.
No two days are the same, one moment you’ll be fixing a routine fault, the next you’ll be troubleshooting unexpected maintenance issues.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a similar role (PBSA/estates/hospitality preferred, but not essential).
- Proactive, resourceful and good problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with pool plant operations or willingness to undertake Pool Plant Operator training.
- Able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements, statutory compliance, and safe systems of work.
