Fresh are seeking a dynamic and passionate General Manager to oversee operations at our student accommodation development Bridge House, Glasgow. Bridge House is a 128 bed student accommodation located on Old Dumbarton Road. It offers furnished en-suite rooms and studios, a gym, and social spaces.
We’re looking for a General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values excellence and wants to make a meaningful impact on residents within the building they are managing. In this role you will be responsible for leading a dedicated on-site team and working closely with them to create a supportive yet safe living environment for residents to reside. Your leadership will set the tone for the property, fostering collaboration and encouraging everyone to go above and beyond to make the resident feel welcome.
A key responsibility of the General Manager is to oversee the effective management of the building. This includes managing budgets, liaising with stakeholders, and proactively seeking solutions to ensure the site continues to deliver exceptional performance. This role offers full-time hours of 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
About you: We’re looking for a motivated leader who thrives in a problem-solving environment and has proven experience taking full accountability for the day-to-day operations of a residential establishment. While this role can be demanding, you must be able to manage pressure effectively, ensuring both you and your team achieve the best possible results. Ultimately, this role is focused on delivering a high-quality living experience for residents, while driving operational efficiency and fostering a positive, engaging atmosphere.
