Here at Fresh, we’re excited to be recruiting for a Resident Advisor to join the team and work at our state‑of‑the‑art 816‑bed student accommodation scheme in Bristol.
The Role: Located in the Bedminster and Victoria Park area, this exciting position offers full‑time hours of 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday between 8am and 8pm on a rota basis. As a Resident Advisor you’ll act as the first point of contact for residents and prospective residents, providing an exceptional support service to ensure that the property runs smoothly, and the residents feel supported. You will be assisting with the organisation of our social events, be on hand to greet prospective students and assist with existing residents’ enquiries while being comfortable handling any viewing enquiries and managing social media posts.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Dealing with enquiries from current and prospective residents via social networks, media communications, email, telephone and in‑person.
- Organising events and open days for prospective and current residents.
- Covering the main reception during office hours, including sorting the mail.
- Be the face of Fresh for residents—liaising with them on a regular basis, making sure that residents feel supported and valued.
- Undertaking viewings with potential residents, providing them with up‑to‑date information relevant to their query.
- Receiving and processing payments, and monitoring/chasing rent arrears when necessary.
- Filing and maintaining customer data, ensuring the database is up‑to‑date and within GDPR regulations.
- Liaising with the maintenance and accommodation team to ensure any issues are logged and resolved promptly.
