Join our team at Beckton House as a Maintenance Technician! Beckton House, our brand-new student accommodation development opening to residents in September 2026, is looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician to join the team and play a key role in preparing, maintaining and enhancing this exciting new property.
This role offers full time hours of 37.5 per week across Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Start date for role - 3rd August 2026.
About the role
Are you a problem solver with a knack for fixing things? Do you thrive in a role where you're responsible for ensuring the smooth running of a building through reactive repairs and planned maintenance? If so, Fresh have just the role for you!
As Maintenance Technician at Beckton House, you'll support the successful launch and ongoing operation of this brand-new student community. You will be responsible for statutory compliance across the building, carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, and managing the commercial waste facilities located externally. You'll be the go-to expert for all things maintenance, whether it's handling routine repairs, troubleshooting unexpected issues or ensuring the building remains safe, compliant and welcoming for our residents. With students moving into Beckton House for the very first time in September 2026, you'll have the exciting opportunity to help shape the resident experience from day one.
About you
We're looking for a hands-on individual with the ability to fix, maintain and improve building facilities. You'll bring a blend of technical expertise and a strong work ethic, coupled with a positive, can-do attitude when challenges arise. You’ll have a solid maintenance background and be resourceful in finding practical solutions to everyday issues. Organised, proactive and safety-conscious, you’ll take pride in maintaining high standards and contributing to a first-class living environment for our residents.
