Join our team at The Brook as a Maintenance Technician! The Brook, a 335 bed property, is looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician to work 37.5 hours per week, across Monday - Friday between 8am and 6pm on a rota basis.

About the role: Are you a problem solver with a knack for fixing things? Do you thrive working in a role where you are accountable for ensuring the smooth operation of minor reactive repairs and carrying out planned maintenance? As Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the statutory compliance for your building, as well as managing the large commercial waste bins which are stored outside the building. You will be the go-to expert on all things maintenance, whether it’s handling routine fixes or tackling unexpected issues. Most importantly, you’ll be accountable for making the building a welcoming, safe place for our residents to live!

About you: We’re looking for a hands-on individual with the ability to fix, maintain, and improve the building. You will bring a blend of technical expertise as well as a strong work ethic, coupled with an upbeat attitude when things get challenging. You’ll need to display a solid background in maintenance, as well as being resourceful and a problem solver for everyday issues.
