As a Road Freight Account Manager, your roles and responsibilities will include….

  • Owning a portfolio of client accounts and monitoring client freight needs
  • Upselling services and solutions to drive volume
  • Conducting regular reviews to identify opportunities, address issues and ensure satisfaction
  • Identifying and qualifying new business through cold-calling, email, networking & CRM tools
  • Creating tailored proposals and quotes for prospective clients
  • Developing strategic account plans, set sales targets, and forecast performance
  • Tracking progress against KPIs; reporting on pipeline, revenue, and client health

We’re looking for a Road Freight Account Manager, with the following skills and experience…

  • Ideally at least 2 years’ experience in road freight/logistics
  • At least 2 years’ experience in sales and/or account management
  • Ability to identify and develop new opportunities
  • Strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving ability
  • Self-motivated & proactive with the drive to work independently

In return, the successful Road Freight Account Manager, will receive a salary up to £35,000 with an OTE of £55,000 (plus uncapped commission), plus the following benefits…
