As a Service Engineer, you will be travelling to various gym and leisure locations carrying out repairs and diagnosing fitness equipment. You will manage your own day-to-day travel, stock levels, and work independently.
Responsibilities:- Maintaining, diagnosing and repairing fitness equipment; treadmills, bikes, cross trainers etc.
- Ensuring gym equipment operates safely and reliably.
- Visiting multiple gym sites, responding to breakdowns, and service reports.
- Carrying out routine preventative maintenance.
- Replacing parts, and ensuring all equipment meets safety standards.
- Providing advice to gym staff on equipment care and use to reduce downtime.
- Mechanical or engineering background and basic electrical knowledge.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Stock management experience.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Good customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
