Have you got experience leading IT engineering teams and looking for your next challenge? We’ve got an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing MSP with a fantastic team! You’ll be leading a team of helpdesk, field and project engineers, making sure they’re happy and productive, as well as getting involved in project work too!
As a Technical Manager, your role and responsibilities will include:
- Lead, coach and develop helpdesk, field and project IT engineers
- Conduct 1:1 meetings and performance reviews
- Manage scheduling, holiday planning and out of hours rotas
- Act as a point of escalation for issues
- Improve accountability and communication across the team
- Deliver & oversee IT and telephony projects
We’re looking for a Technical Manager with the following skills and experience:
- Experience leading and managing a technical team of engineers
- Experience with a Microsoft environment – Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and M365 portal administration & a familiarity with Copilot
- Strong DNS understanding
- Exposure to CIPP or similar MSP automation frameworks
- Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership
- Commercially aware and understands service delivery expectations
- Technically capable and able to contribute to system and process decisions
In return the successful Technical Manager will receive a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 plus the following benefits:
