Are you an experienced, proactive combustion engineer who takes pride in getting the job done right? Do you want to join a fantastic family-owned firm that truly looks after its team and works with a wide range of commercial and industrial clients? You’ll be servicing industrial gas-fired heaters, burners, and boilers of all makes and models across client sites.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing to a variety of heaters, burners and boilers
- Fault-finding and carrying out repairs on industrial burners/heaters
- Carrying out industrial steam boiler shutdown works
- Fault-finding commercial plant room equipment e.g. boilers, pumps, valves, vessels etc.
- Working both independently and as part of a small team
Qualifications:
- Commercial Gas ACS is required with at least a minimum COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1 CENWAT, ACS (Testing & Purging / Pipework Installation), IPAF, 18th Edition (or earlier) Electrical Regulations, would be desirable
- Experience working with commercial heaters and burners
- Physically fit and comfortable in confined spaces and at heights
- Good time management and prioritising skills
- A full clean driving licence
In return, the successful Combustion Engineer will receive a salary of up to £45,000.
