As a Senior Accountant, your roles and responsibilities will include… * Managing a portfolio of your own clients * Preparing client records and trial balances * Preparing and submitting VAT returns under MTD & helping clients get MTD ready * Preparing annual accounts from trial balance * Preparing and submitting Corporation & self-assessment tax returns * Preparing management accounts where clients need it * Liaising with HMRC and companies house We’re looking for a Senior Accountant with the following skills and experience… * Qualified accountant ACCA, ACA, CA or CIMA * Around 3 years post qualification experience in a practice environment * Confident across full accounts preparation and year end processes * Strong, accurate and detail focused * Comfortable in a client facing role with excellent customer service * Driven and great at managing your own workload and deadlines * Hands on experience with Xero, Sage and TaxCalc (or similar) * Payroll knowledge preferable including PAYE process In return, the successful Senior Accountant will receive a salary up to £55,000 plus the following benefits… * 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off * Team events – awards nights, Christmas parties * Training and development – especially within the tax world * Bonus schemes for client introductions and client conversions Want to find out more about this Senior Accountant role?
