As a Head of Business Development your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and deliver business generation in line with sales, marketing, and wider company goals
- Convert marketing led demand, partnerships & outbound activity into a high-quality sales pipeline
- Turn marketing‑led demand and partnerships into a strong, consistent sales pipeline
- Champion cross selling and multi service solutions that deliver greater long term client value
- Lead & develop a team of Executives against clear expectations & targets
- Embed a high performance, ethical and consultative sales culture
We are looking for a Head of Business Development with the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a senior business generation, sales leadership or commercial role within energy, utilities, sustainability or consultancy
- Track record of leading and developing successful sales or business development teams
- Strong expertise in energy procurement, net zero, carbon, compliance & bureau services
- Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles and senior stakeholder relationships
- Commercially astute with strong pipeline, forecasting and performance management skills
- Experience working closely with marketing in an integrated sales and marketing model
In return, the successful Head of Business Development will receive a salary of up to £50,000 with an OTE of up to £90,000 plus benefits:
- Uncapped commission based on teams performance
- Paid time off during office closure (xmas) plus 25 days holiday & bank holidays
