As an Automation Technician, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the design, programming, and testing of automation and control systems
- Troubleshooting and maintaining automated machinery and control systems
- Collaborating with engineers and technicians on automation projects
- Supporting the implementation of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Conducting system diagnostics and performance analysis
- Providing technical support and documentation for automation processes
We’re looking for an Automation Technician with the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar position (ideally 5 years but can be flexible)
- PLC programming knowledge (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi) preferred
- Understanding of control systems and industrial automation
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent communication with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
In return, the successful Automation Technician will receive a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 plus the following benefits:
