Fresh People are recruiting for a well-established fresh produce business based in Sevenoaks, Kent, operating within a fast-paced and time-critical FMCG supply chain. A Warehouse Operative is required to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is key to ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of product across the warehouse operation.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring orders are picked, handled, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production, and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Manual handling of goods and palletised stock
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Completing warehouse administration tasks
  • Use of hand scanners and warehouse systems
  • Operating ride-on pallet trucks and other equipment
  • Supplying product to the packhouse as required
  • General housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse
