Regional Finance Manager Fresh People are currently looking to recruit a Regional Finance Manager home based for a Fresh Produce business. In this you will provide business partnering, commercial analysis and decision support to the management teams at branches within regions of a Foodservice business, preferably located in Devon . Working closely with Branch Managers and divisional Senior Leadership Team to maximise business performance and identify risks and opportunities, supported by a centralised management accounts team. You will be required to visit Bodmin and Devon sites weekly and Bristol & Cardiff monthly, travel to all locations is a key part of the role and driving time will be included within your working time reporting into Head of Finance The Person Suitable candidates would ideally be CIMA or ACCA qualified although QBE would be considered if from industry . Experience gained within Fresh Produce, FMCG or Logistics Industries with multi-site experience in a product led environment with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills is required. Experienced in building relationships with non-finance and cross-functional personnel across all levels within the business. Ability to adapt quickly and deliver commercial results in changing environment whilst understanding trends and results. High level of competency in financial analysis and modelling Role Responsibilities * Providing support, challenge, and insight to the Branch Managers of each site within your remit as a Finance Business partner * To deliver timely, accurate & relevant financial information, analysis and commentary to key stakeholders * Provide the following financial information and analysis , weekly and monthly P&L reporting, Monthly and quarterly forecasts, Annual budgets, Variance analysis, KPI’s & Benchmarking * Provide commercial support to the Branch Managers focussing on understanding and explaining business performance variances and identifying risks and opportunities to enable delivery of their targets * Develop, rigorously challenge, and question the budget/forecast assumptions and KPIs on an on-going basis, and report this to the Branch Managers and Divisional Team * Provide insight into customer and sales team performance * Production of the internal Monthly Reporting pack and participation in the Monthly Review Meeting * Overall responsibility to produce the monthly Management Accounts and all central reporting working in collaboration with the central finance team * Production and evaluation of business cases including capital expenditure proposals * Ensure that strong financial controls are in place across all branches * Ensure that all company policies and statutory requirements are adhered to * Support the Financial Controller as required through analysis and project activity If you are looking for a role based from home with previous experience in a similar role comfortable with the travel required within this role then we would like to hear from you today
