Fresh People are currently recruiting for a Fresh Produce Supply Chain Coordinator to join a successful business within the Fresh Produce sector based in the Maidstone area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual with experience in Fresh Produce Supply Chain, Stock Control or Customer Order Fulfilment.
Working closely with Commercial teams, growers and third-party packing partners, you'll be responsible for coordinating product arrivals, managing stock availability, processing customer orders and ensuring an efficient flow of product through the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily product arrivals and ensure stock is accurately received within company systems.
- Monitor stock levels and reconcile inventory to maintain accurate stock records.
- Process customer orders and manage amendments in line with business requirements.
- Allocate stock to customer demand, ensuring high service levels are maintained.
- Liaise with growers, packhouses and internal teams regarding stock availability and supply updates.
- Coordinate supply requirements across third-party packing facilities.
- Manage tray movements and daily de-hire activities.
- Process ASN documentation for third-party sites as required.
- Maintain accurate supply chain data, supply sheets and master data.
- Verify third-party packhouse invoices and support works order administration.
- Ensure product rotation is followed to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
About You
To be successful, you will have
- Previous experience within the Fresh Produce industry.
- Experience in a Supply Chain, Stock Control, Customer Order Processing or Supply Chain Coordination role.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience managing stock, inventory and customer orders within a fast-paced environment.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using Prophet or other stock management systems would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, growers and internal teams.
- The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
