Client Manager β Qualified Accountant
Fresh People are recruiting a qualified accountant to join an established and highly regarded professional services and advisory firm in Faversham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant, ideally with 1β5 years post-qualified experience, looking to develop beyond traditional accounts work into a broader client management and advisory role.
The Role You will work with a varied portfolio of clients, developing into a trusted point of contact across their wider financial and business requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparation and review of annual accounts
Management reporting and financial analysis
Developing exposure to corporate and personal tax
Budgets, forecasts and cashflow
Client meetings and ongoing relationship management
Identifying opportunities to provide wider business advice
Reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues
Developing broader commercial and advisory experience
Previous portfolio management experience is not essential, and you do not need to be a tax specialist. The firm is prepared to develop the right person in areas where they have less exposure.
About You ACA or ACCA qualified
Ideally 1β5 years post-qualified experience
Accountancy practice background
Strong accounts preparation and/or review experience
Confident communicating directly with clients
Commercially minded and keen to broaden your experience
Ambitious to progress into a more advisory-led position
There is genuine scope for this role to develop further into Virtual FD and higher-level client advisory work, making it particularly attractive for someone who wants more than a traditional practice accounting role.
