We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Tax Adviser to join a well-established and growing professional services firm based in Canterbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to take the next step in their career, working with a varied client portfolio across personal and corporate tax matters while gaining exposure to advisory work.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax compliance services and supporting tax planning and advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
  • Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and corporation tax computations
  • Providing tax compliance services and ensuring statutory deadlines are met
  • Liaising directly with clients, HMRC and internal stakeholders
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting advisory assignments
  • Assisting with HMRC enquiries and compliance matters
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and regulations
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate

About You

  • ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice or professional services environment
  • Strong personal and/or corporate tax experience
  • Good understanding of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing client relationships and handling client queries
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
