This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Senior or Payroll Supervisor who enjoys the technical aspects of payroll, working with a varied client portfolio and supporting the development of colleagues.
Working as part of an established payroll department, you will play an important role in ensuring the accurate, compliant and timely delivery of payroll services while providing technical guidance, reviewing payroll work and maintaining strong client relationships.
The Role
As Payroll Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day operation of the payroll department, working closely with management and the wider team to maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance and client service.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing payroll processing to ensure accuracy, compliance and delivery within agreed deadlines.
Overseeing complex payroll calculations, adjustments and payroll queries.
Supporting the management of multiple client payrolls and ensuring an efficient payroll service.
Reviewing and authorising payroll work, carrying out quality checks and monitoring workflow controls.
Ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements, payroll legislation, workplace pensions and automatic enrolment.
