• Direct and monitor the safe movement of vehicles and HGVs in and out of the yard and loading bays.

• Act as leadtrabsport marshall, guiding vehicles to prevent accidents and ensure yard efficiency.

• Liaise effectively with drivers, transport planners, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth operations.

• Enforce all yard safety procedures and report incidents or near misses promptly.

• Control yard access to prevent unauthorised entry and maintain security.

• Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and maintain a clean, safe environment.

• Support traffic flow during peak delivery/collection times.

• Carry out general yard duties as needed.

• Proven experience in a Transport Yard Supervisor, Traffic Marshal, Banksman or similar role.

• Solid understanding of health & safety procedures in a busy transport or logistics environment.

• Confident communicator with a calm, assertive presence.
