Fresh People are recruiting for a Commercial Coordinator to join a fast-paced, customer-focused food and fresh produce business. This role will work closely with the Commercial / Account Management team, supporting key retail customers and helping ensure service levels, sales targets, and margin objectives are consistently achieved.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong commercial administration, data handling, and customer support experience who is looking to develop their career within a commercial or account management environment.
The Role
Working alongside the Commercial and Account Management team, you will play a key role in supporting customer accounts, maintaining accurate commercial data, and ensuring customer expectations are clearly communicated and delivered across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Commercial / Account Managers in the day-to-day management and development of key customer accounts
- Maintaining and updating customer data including KPIs, daily sales figures, forecasts, and stock positions
- Managing customer forecasts and roll-stock information within depot systems
- Completing weekly retail audits and benchmarking activity
- Supporting new product launches and range change planning and implementation
- Assisting with demand forecasting to support weekly sales budget maintenance
- Extracting and analysing data from customer and retail platforms
- Maintaining customer pricing data and supporting margin analysis
- Supporting sales order and purchase order processing through internal systems
About You
You will be highly organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working with data in a commercial or customer-facing environment.
Key skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a commercial, account support, sales administration, or coordinator role
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data, forecasts, and reports
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work cross-functionally
- A proactive, team-focused approach with excellent attention to detail
- Experience within food, fresh produce, FMCG, or retail supply chains is highly desirable
